Lyle McKernan is a Certified Farrier since 1986. He does pathological and corrective work. He also does horse breaking and training. Along with these services, Lyle works cattle and does a lot of daywork, brandings and watching over pasture cattle all summer. He uses his roping skills frequently to treat sick cows or calves. The horses we have available are used in these activities. It is part of their training program. All the horses are trained for ranch work.
